Hi, I'm Amy!
I started this journey in 2014 when a dear friend introduced me to Kinetic Chain Release therapy; I didn't realise just quite how wonky and out of balance I was until I found this. I was hooked and have spent the last decade being a part of others healing journeys, adding extra modalities along the trip to give a fuller offering to my clients. Touch therapy is a tool to help heal & I also am a tutor with Gateway Workshops UK to spread the knowledge far & wide. Whether it's stress, illness or simply to keep your body in the best condition it can be, the benefits can be life changing. Get in touch & I'll see if I can help you.
Kinetic Chain Release (KCR) is a simple yet extremely effective system of medically and scientifically recognised and approved series of gentle mobilisations and stretches as developed by Scottish Physiotherapist Hugh Gilbert. KCR supports the body in returning to physical balance quickly and easily. It frequently provides a high degree of relief, and in many cases complete resolution, to the pain and discomfort caused by a number of medical conditions.

Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body. This massage is beneficial for athletes and those who sit for long periods of time.
The general definition for Myofascial release is: ‘an alternative medicine therapy useful for treating skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles.’ This is a gentle yet powerful accompaniment to a treatment.
Cupping is an ancient type of therapy that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. This increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This can relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue.
This is a gentle, non-invasive manual technique that has a powerful effect on the body.
Developed by Emil and Estrid Vodder (1932) MLD has grown to be the most well known manual technique to assist lymph flow and aid in drainage of tissues. It efficacy is proven in countless studies globally.
The skin is stretched and torqued in a specific manner, based on scientific, physiological principles that have proven to encourage lymph flow. This can greatly enhance recovery and facilitate drainage. It also has profound effects on systems in the body. (Most effective as a block of sessions)
